Hi! I'm Lesley and I'm the owner and baker behind Goody-Goody, Rockport's newest micro-bakery offering 90s kids (and 90s kids at heart) some culinary nostalgia with a gourmet twist!​

I still kind of can't believe I'm really a pastry chef, officially! After a lifetime of baking for joy and daydreaming, I finally made culinary school a reality and graduated valedictorian (what?!) from the Pastry Certificate Program at Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. While you won't likely see a dobos torte or a 7-layer entremet with a mirror glaze on this menu, that training has been invaluable as I pursue my culinary entrepreneurial journey making cookies, brownies, and other tasty treats for you!

 

Goody-Goody is born out of the desire to share joy and foster community through the pleasure of food. I consider it a beautiful privilege to provide folks with something whose purpose centers joy. Pastry is a source of delight, a balm for grief, a cultural bridge, a conduit for celebration, comfort, an ice-breaker for a nervous first date, a nostalgic portal, and prompts such a beautifully human experience. We eat it with our hands! We roll our eyes back and wipe buttery crumbs off of our lips and reach our hands out to others with the desire to share. I think that's beautiful. And,...um, yeah it also just tastes REALLY GOOD haha.​
